Apply today before funds run out!

Some exciting news for GA Taxpayers is you can now direct your Georgia tax dollars to support Families 4 Families children. You now have the choice to have your state tax dollars go directly to our foster care agency. Families 4 Families is a Child Placement Agency (CPA) that recruits, trains, and licenses foster families as a resource to DFCS for when children come into foster care. Below are some easy steps on how to apply!
How To Apply:
1. Apply: Taxpayers electronically submit their intentions to the State of Georgia regarding tax credits for the 2023 tax year.
-
When prompted, select Families 4 Families as the Qualified Foster Child Support Organization (QFCSO).
-
Within 30 days, those tax credit applications are approved or denied by the state on a first come first served basis.

2. Donate: Once notified of approval, taxpayers have 60 days to make their donations directly to Families 4 Families.
-
To make your gift by check, please allow ample time for mailing and include the Fostering Success Act donation form.
-
Please note our main office address is 3915 Harrison Rd, Suite 500, Loganville, GA 30052.

Update the secure form with your information (name of taxpayer or entity, address, taxpayer identification number, date of contribution, amount of contribution, pre-approval amount of credit).
-
Once you complete the form, our staff will verify its accuracy, sign it, and return the signed form to you for your tax records.
-
In 2024, when taxpayers submit their tax records for 2023, qualifying gifts to Families 4 Families will count as tax payments.*
